Work Experience
I have worked within the private, voluntary and public sectors. My working career began when I became a business owner in my late teens. I later worked in education for 10 years as a learning mentor supporting children educationally, behaviourally and emotionally within primary school settings. At the same time, having entered therapy in my late 20's, I began a 9 year academic journey to Masters level, training and subsequently working as a psychotherapist. I am also trained, educated and accredited in the art of energy healing.
I have also worked at:
St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds: Befriender in the day hospice, supporting the terminally ill.
Leeds counselling charity: Volunteer Counsellor.
BACP: Voluntary private practitioners network meeting facilitator in Leeds.
I am also the co-founder and director of Evolve Counselling & Therapy Centre in central Leeds.
